While every reasonable step has been taken to return these items to as close to new as possible, refurbished products may have blemishes, minor scratches Definition of Used Some items found throughout this Site and offered for purchase are described as used. Used items are so represented and are not new or refurbished. In most cases they are sold for their value as collectables and are so stated. Items may be refurbished or new and still sold as used because of their age or impracticability of use in today's market. These products will not be covered by a warranty unless otherwise stated in the item's description or pricing guide. In some instances items that are listed as used may be incomplete or nonfunctioning; if so, it will be so stated in the description or pricing information. Definition of Repaired Professional repair is offered through this Site. Items are repaired to correct a specific problem or malfunction based upon a customer complaint or diagnosis. Prior to any repairs an evaluation is performed on the item and an estimate given. There is a charge for the evaluation service based upon the type of item being submitted. No repairs are performed until authorized. If special conditions apply they will be so stated in the item's estimate or at the time of repair confirmation. Definition of Reconditioned In addition to repair, professional reconditioning is offered through this Site. Items that are reconditioned can have additional services performed or additional parts added, to enhance their operation or improve their performance. It does not include specialized parts or appearance items. Reconditioning is elective and does not alter or expand the warranty covering the repair. If special conditions apply they will be so stated in the item's estimate or at the time of repair confirmation. Conditions of Sale Due to the inconsistency and scarcity of inventory for new and used Beta related merchandise, the purchaser will be notified via Terms of Sale All sales are final. No refunds will be given. All items are sold as described and it is the responsibility of the purchaser to acknowledge the nature of the item before the sale. If a product is found to be defective or fails to perform as described or expected within the warranty period then it will be the responsibility of the purchaser to notify MisterBetamax within five business days of the problem.
